Up in the Air

Don't be fooled by the rather dull trailer. This movie IS good.
Touches oh-so-subtly on so many issues, the core of which - Being alone in a world full of people. Dialogue is witty without being too smart and I cannot imagine a cast more apt. Loved the inappropriate insights and delightful digs, especially when Clooney said: "..... 5 words - Randomly selected for additional screening".

My Morning Frappé

1 tablespoon Nescafe instant coffee
4 tablespoons Milo powder
1/2 tablespoon sugar
Some milk (measured instinctually)
Blend well with zhnged-by-ah-beng-looking Blender with fierce blue lights


Add 5-7 Ice cubes, crush ice first using "Ice" function, then blend well at max speed.


Served as is, with whipped cream or à la mode.

Chicago Midwinter Meeting 2010

Starting 2010 with a refresher of life's lessons....

1. The big fish do eat the smaller fish.
   
2. About judging books by covers - Some people look blur/ innocent, but they are bloody con-artists. Some people look like con-artists to begin with - That's usually true.
3. Never expect charity from anyone.
4. There's no such thing as "easy money"
   
5. People who say " If you play long enough, you'd win it all back" are either delusional or con-artists...
6. Only 3 things are certain in my life... death, taxes, and losing money in poker :)
